The asynchronous components of the 7 modules are now available at all times on myCourses. This series covers essential topics designed to support both new and experienced faculty members in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as they grow in their roles as teachers and educators. The modules are relevant across all health professions in the Faculty and apply to clinical, classroom, and lab-based teaching. Each online module takes approximately one hour to complete.
Modules include:
- The Art and Science of Teaching
- The Teacher鈥揕earner Relationship
- The Learning Environment (with Patient Safety and Graduate Student Supervision streams)
- Effective Feedback
- The Learner in Difficulty
- Assessment (with Clinical and Classroom teaching streams)
- Interactive Teaching
The series is accredited for 7.0 hours of RCPSC Section1/ CFPC Mainpro+ credits or 7 hours of continuing professional education credits.
