Welcome to the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences' Undergraduate Teaching Clinic. We provide high quality, comprehensive care for about 30-40% less the cost of a private office. Our patients receive excellent care, and in turn, our students gain skills to prepare them to become dentists.聽

Eligibility and how to apply聽

麻豆色情片 is a teaching institution. Patients of the Undergraduate Teaching Clinic are selected based on the requirements of our educational program. People with limited treatment needs, for instance less than four fillings, no need for crowns, root canal treatment, dentures, etc. will not be accepted as a patient. To determine if you fit the patient criteria, please watch this which explains the clinic in full detail.聽聽

Once you have watched the video, if your dental care needs fit the patient criteria and you wish to become a patient of the Undergraduate Teaching Clinic please fill out the online application form: www.mcgill.ca/dentistry/patient-application-form. A member of our team will contact you聽to confirm your eligibility.

Rapid screening appointment聽

  • All prospective patients must first attend a rapid screening appointment prior to being accepted as a patient.
  • This visit will take approximately one聽hour聽and will determine if your treatment needs are appropriate for our teaching clinic.
  • Radiographs (x-rays) are normally taken at the screening appointment.聽If you have had radiographs taken in the past year, please indicate this in the application form. Digital radiographs can be included in the online form or sent by email.
  • If your treatment needs are suitable for the Undergraduate Teaching Clinic, you will be given an appointment for a complete examination to build a treatment plan. This appointment will last three hours.聽

Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)

The Undergraduate Teaching Clinic is a Canadian Dental Care Plan provider. Please bring your card to each appointment. If you have not yet received your card, please bring the letter confirming your eligibility. It is important to note that the CDCP does not cover all treatments, therefore you may have to pay for some procedures.

Dental emergencies

Emergency services are available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m from September to May.聽Please call 514-398-5189聽for any dental emergency.

Patients are triaged and seen in the order of priority below. The waiting time varies depending on the severity of the problem.
1锔忊儯 acute pain, swelling, bleeding or a recent injury
2锔忊儯 continuous 鈥渋ntense or moderate鈥 pain in jaw, mouth or teeth
3锔忊儯 intermittent pain

鉂桺lease note that we do not repair broken dentures.

Should you have an emergency after opening hours or during the months of June to August, please contact the Montreal General Hospital聽emergency department or proceed to its emergency department for triage prior to communication with an on-call dental resident.

Screening and complete examination fees

The screening fee is not refundable, even if you are not accepted as a patient in the clinic.
