Secure your spot today!\n\n\nSpeakers\n\n\n Danilo Bzdok\n\n Danilo Bzdok is a medical doctor and computer scientist with a dual background in systems neuroscien ce and machine learning algorithms. After training at RWTH Aachen Universi ty (Germany)\, Université de Lausanne (Switzerland) and Harvard Medical Sc hool (USA)\, he completed one Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience (Research Ce nter Juelich\, Germany) and one Ph.D. in computer science in machine learn ing statistics at INRIA Saclay and Neurospin (France). Danilo currently se rves as Associate Professor at 鶹ɫƬ's Faculty of Medicine and as Canada CIFAR AI Chair at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute\, Montre al\, Canada\, including cross-appointments at the McConnell Brain Imaging Center\, Montreal Neurological Institute\, Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformat ics and Mental Health and the School of Computer Science at 鶹ɫƬ Univers ity. His interdisciplinary research activity centers on narrowing knowledg e gaps in the brain basis of human-defining types of thinking\, with a spe cial focus on the higher association cortex in health and disease.\n\n\n\n Katie Lavigne\n\n Katie Lavigne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at 鶹ɫƬ and a Researcher at the Douglas Resear ch Centre\, where she also leads the Douglas Open Science Program. She rec eived a PhD in Neuroscience in 2018 from the University of British Columbi a and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Neuro and Douglas Researc h Centre in 2023.
