He has hosted two national science programs\, Quirks and Quarks on CBC Radio and Daily Plan et on Discovery Channel Canada\, and has written nineteen books\, three of which have won Canadian Science Writers' Awards.  Mr. Ingram has six hono rary degrees and is a member of the Order of Canada.
