 ia.\n\nFrontotemporal Dementia and Managing Challenging Behaviour\n\nDr. S
 imon Ducharme is a neuropsychiatrist and a clinician-scientist at the Doug
 las Mental Health University Institute and The Neuro (Montreal Neurologica
 l Institute-Hospital). He specializes in frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and
  the interface between psychiatric disorders and dementia. His research pr
 ogram uses advanced neuroimaging techniques to develop diagnostic biomarke
 rs for FTD. Dr. Ducharme is the Director of the Â鶹ɫÇéƬ Division of Geriatr
 ic Psychiatry & Neuropsychiatry and the Director of the American Neuropsyc
 hiatric Association Committee on Research.\n\nDr. Ducharme will speak abou
 t FTD and how it differs from other forms of dementia. He will address the
  types of behavioral changes caused by FTD\, how they may evolve as the di
 sease progresses\, and ways of dealing with these types of changes.\n\nThi
