DESCRIPTION:Target audience: Novice instructors or those with limited forma
 l training in simulation-based education\n\nThis workshop is designed for 
 teaching faculty who are involved (or will be involved) as instructors in 
 simulation-based learning activities. This practical workshop will provide
  participants with a brief overview of the relevant educational background
 \, followed by opportunities to practice debriefing skills with experience
 d educators in a safe learning environment. Participants will be able to i
 ncorporate skills they learn in this workshop immediately into their teach
 ing sessions\, working to optimize the learning of their students.\n\nAt t
 he end of this session\, the participant will be able to:\n\n\n	Outline pri
 nciples of effective debriefing sessions for simulation-based education\n	A
 pply a framework to debriefing in the simulation context​\n\n\n \n\nThis c
 ourse is eligible for three (3) Continuing Medical Education credits.\n\nP
