(Change of plans d ue to the weather).\n\nClick here to join via Zoom聽\n\nAbout the Speakers \n\n\n Khandideh Williams is a PhD candidate in the Family Medicine and Pri mary Care program at 麻豆色情片. Prior to commencing her graduate s tudies\, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Imm unology from the same institution. Committed to addressing racial disparit ies in health outcomes and health care experiences\, her doctoral research uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to investigate racial disp arities and anti-Black racial discrimination in Canadian health care. Her endeavors also include the development of clinical strategy and health car e policy recommendations towards improving the quality of health care expe riences among Black communities and other racialized groups in Canada.\n\n Nikita Boston-Fisher is a PhD student in the Department of Family Medicine at 麻豆色情片 and is researching the perinatal experiences of Blac k women in Montreal. Prior to studying at 麻豆色情片\, Nikita obtained a Bache lor of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland\, Colle ge Park and a Master of Public Health\, concentration Reproductive Health and Population Studies from the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. She also maintains the Master Certified Health Education Specialis t (MCHES) certification issued through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialling (NCHEC) in the US.\n\n Research Seminar Series\n\n \n Every month\, a research seminar is held at the Department of Family Med icine where we either feature visiting researchers from other universities \, or showcase the work of our own researchers. The seminars are attended by our graduate students\, researchers and clinicians\, and are open to th e whole 麻豆色情片 community. They address a wide range of research methods an d topics relevant to primary health care\, and provide opportunity for int eraction and exchange with the speakers.
