Welcoming a new cohort of GCPA students
The first week of May marks the start of the GCPA program for a new incoming cohort of 48 students. Joining the cohort are 37 graduates from 麻豆色情片鈥檚 very own Bachelor of Commerce graduates, seven Concordia graduates, and four from other Canadian universities. The cohort is comprised of 25 female students and 23 male students.

GCPA participants score top marks on CFE
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) participants Liane Brick (BCom鈥�17) and Michael Richardson have placed on the National Honour Roll for their results on the Common Final Examination (CFE), with Richardson earning a gold medal for placing 1st among the six Quebec students who made the list.
This marks the second consecutive year that a GCPA student wins the gold medal for Quebec.

Michael Richardson (GCPA'18), student of the Graduate Certificate in the Professional Accounting (GCPA) program, has been selected among his graduating class as this year鈥檚 recipient of the C. Douglas Mellor Prize for academic excellence.
2018 Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship recipients
On June 12, the听Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) program听awarded the Lionel Pelham Kent Scholarship to the following students: Sorana Gyorgy, Eleni Panaritis, Michael Richardson and Ghassen Sabri.
In the memory of Lionel Pelham Kent, CA, this scholarship was established in 1998 to recognize academic excellence and strong communication skills among students entering the final year of the GCPA program.

Desautels alumnus named to CFE National Honour Roll
Richard Despatie听(BCom鈥�16) has been named to the National Honour Roll of the Common Final Exam (CFE). He is among the top-three writers in Ontario of the Common Final Exam.
Written in September, the CFE is a national three-day evaluation that assesses competencies including essential knowledge, professional judgment, ethics, and the ability to communicate.听
