The Centre for Research and Expertise in Social Gerontology (CREG脡S) satellite office is a space where students interested in aging issues can network, provide mutual support and share their research interests and practice experiences. The satellite office works in collaboration with the main principles of CREG脡S, the Center for research and expertise in social gerontology at the Cavendish University affiliated Health and social service centre.
This year鈥檚 Distinguished Dissertation Award winner (Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) has spent much of her academic career studying its impact on children and their families.
Dr. Bree Akesson received her PhD in social work from 麻豆色情片.听 She is now an assistant professor at Wilfrid Laurier University specializing in international child protection and the psychosocial effects of war and disaster on young families.
The School of Social Work wishes to extend our congratulations to Brenda Shanahan,听BSW鈥�07 who was elected as the Liberal Leader for Chateauguay-Lacolle in the 2015 Canadian federal election.听

Professor Nico听Trocm茅 is one of three panelists named by the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services to conduct a review of the province鈥檚听foster care, group care and treatment facilities for the 17,000 children and youth placed through the child welfare, mental health and youth justice systems.
